About JAICA

The Journal of Artificial Intelligence and Computing Applications (JAICA) is a Mexican scientific research journal specialized in artificial intelligence, computing, and intelligent applications. The journal publishes original research articles, review articles, and other scholarly contributions related to the development, evaluation, and application of computational methods, artificial intelligence techniques, intelligent systems, data-driven technologies, and computing applications.

JAICA is addressed to the academic, scientific, and professional community interested in artificial intelligence, computer science, software and hardware systems, data science, intelligent applications, and interdisciplinary technological innovation.

All research manuscripts submitted to JAICA are subject to editorial screening and peer review according to the journal’s editorial policies.

JAICA is a peer-reviewed scientific research journal. It is a scholarly periodical edited in Mexico and focused on the publication of academic and scientific contributions in artificial intelligence, computing, and intelligent applications.

The journal publishes original research articles, review articles, applied and technical contributions, short narrative reviews, position papers, and other scholarly works that are consistent with its aims, scope, and editorial policies.

JAICA is edited by Maikron, Asociación para el Avance de las Aplicaciones Inteligentes y Tecnologías con Impacto Social, A.C., a Mexican non-profit civil association dedicated to promoting scientific, technological, educational, and social-impact initiatives related to artificial intelligence, computing, and intelligent applications.

As the journal’s publishing entity, Maikron supports JAICA’s editorial infrastructure, open-access model, non-commercial publication policy, and institutional continuity.

JAICA aims to provide an open, rigorous, and accessible venue for the publication of scholarly work in artificial intelligence and computing applications. The journal welcomes contributions that advance theoretical, methodological, experimental, applied, or interdisciplinary knowledge in areas such as:

JAICA is committed to the open dissemination of scientific knowledge and to the principle that research results should be accessible to the academic community and society.

JAICA operates under a non-commercial open-access model. The journal does not pursue commercial profit from the publication or access to scholarly content.

JAICA is a semiannual scholarly journal. The journal publishes two issues per year and maintains public access to its current and previous issues through its online archive.
